Steering Brace

    A friend of mine and I purchased one steering brace each. Since the two trucks are a 78 and a 81, we ordered the appropriate year for our particular application. However, when the package was recieved, we found out they were both in the same box unmarked.

    How do we tell the difference between them? Which one is which?

    The only difference between the "-L" and "-E" kits is the small clip that goes in front of the crossmember. Here's a photo of the early model brace kit: GU39001-E Fits ’73 to ’80 GM F/S
