steering column swap info ???????

    Can anuone tell me if a steering column from an s-series truck or blazer will fit and or work in a fullsize suburban?????
    any and all information will be appreciated. <font color="red"> </font color>

    My answer is no : )

    Actually its an educated guess.

    GM columns up to about '96, starting in about '73, are physically *similar*. If you get an S-10 column from the same or very close to the same year as what you need, a lot of the parts will interchange for sure. The problem is length/mounting. Steering wheels, overall length and mounting position are the major differences all through those years. Take a close look next time you are at the wrecking yard.
