I was wondering if anyone knows of anyplace that can rebuild and regear a gm steering box. the reason i am asking is because i was thinking of getting an AGR gear box and some one told me they aint worth the money. If i can get a gm one rebuilt and regeared for cheaper than a new agr i would go that route. regearing for the purpose of the lift and 38in tires, dont know if i really have to though, just a thought. Thanks any help is greatly appreciated!!

My buddy has AGR steering box,and pump on his J**P. He loves it,also alot quicker in response. The price is kinda high but it was a great mod to his jeep. He has 36 swampers on it.You might want to call a junk yard and ask them?

You can check out my rig right here <A target="_blank" HREF=http://community.webshots.com/user/vwryda>http://community.webshots.com/user/vwryda</A>

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone "regearing" a steering box. Speaking of AGR, have you seen this?
