I'm thinking of replacing all the steering like tie-rods, ends, ... ect. when I install the 3/4 ton Dana 44. Anyone know of a (Heavy Duty) complete front end kit for out trucks ??? Please hook up with the links and recomendations. Thank you.

Just go to your local parts store and pick up Moog or McQuay Norris. Autozone carries MN, and they are quality at an inexpensive price.

I doubt it, but I can't imagine why you would need a kit. 2 TRE, 2 DLE, and you are done.

There was a company that made a complete kit, but it was for the 10 bolt that had seperate TRE's on the end, and the rod itself was seperate. I believe on your 44, one tie rod consists of the end and the long rod portion, does it not?

***It was Northern Auto Parts that offered that kit, but I don't see it available online.*****

I've got a 3/4 ton dana 44 out of a 78 3/4 ton pick up. The long bar that go's from side to side is bent. So I want to replace everything that has to do with the steering after the raised steering arm. What kind of price are we talking ??

I was thinking I'd go ahead and replace everything steering wise after the raised steering arm. Ball joints, tie rods, tie rod ends, steering stablizer, that long bar that runs from knuckle to knuckle, ...ect. everthing. That's why I'm hoping to find a kit with everything so I can save a few bucks vers buying everything sepreatly.

I was just flaming you /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif but like swanson said, you might want to look into x-over if you are just going to replace everything anyway /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
