Earlier today, I went to take a few pics of my Blazer in the first real snow that we have had here [IMG] I found a dirt mound a little ways aways and was able to place my front up on it. I took a pic w/ the left front and the right front up on the hill. When I put the left front up, I was able to lift the left rear a bit off the ground. Well, now I swear that my steering wheel is at is center further clockwise than it was before I went and took pics. What gives? The the steering characteristics have not changed, just the position of the steer wheel...What could cause this?

Was that a speed bump? No, just a Rice Rocket </font color=red>

I had the same thing happen to me when I went wheelin once. The wheel was straight up at the beginning of the day, and at the end it was cocked to the left noticably. I am not sure what caused it, but my mechanic fixed it when he was doing other work to my truck. Also someone explained how to fix it here once, but I don't remember how exactly. Sorry I can't help you.

My Chevy isn't broken, its just out of gas.

I have seen the frame cracked at the steering box mount flex enough to cause this.

'85 K5 : Run it til it breaks, then fix it and go again!

you just need to adjust the draglink to fix this. Its the shorter of the two tie rods...
