I've got a '88-'98 style wheel in my rig. Don't know what it took to put it in there as it was already done, but I'd imagine they're interchangable.

Yes! I recently bought a 2002 steering wheel from a 3/4 ton chevy truck and it fit great! This one didn't have an airbag. Oh, my truck is 1975. The only thing funny about it is the horn. Mine will take some trickery to make it work, but yours may hook up just fine.

Email me if you have any questions cause I can't always check the forums.

Good luck! I'll send pictures if you want.

    Scott.

The larger trucks aren't required to have airbags by DOT. This particular guy was selling it on Ebay (Airbagsystems I think) and he was contracted to convert these trucks to airbags by some city government. They may have been paramedic trucks or something like that. I think it was 3/4 ton or 1-ton. May have been bigger. Anyway I got it for real cheap - $45 or so, it's been a while. You might want to watch Ebay for similar deals. It looks really nice and was blue to match my interior.

    Good luck with yours.
