Do you or anybody know how to convert a 14 bolt FF to 6 lug pattern. The reason I ask this is because I have three sets of six lug rims, and I don't want to have to buy three more sets. If anybody does if you can let me know how to do it and how difficult. I have a dril press lathe, and just about every other tool imaginable, just don't know where to start.

I've seen one FF converted that seemed to work pretty well. But, consider the economics, get a cheap 14FF, cheap detroit, then spend a lot of money converting it to 6 lug. You have to machine the axle shafts and hubs, and put in all new brakes and mounts. It may not work out financially. I'd say look for a 14SF or a D60 to put in it.

One other thing to watch is that a 14FF is nicely matched to a big tire, you can convert it to 6 lug, then go to a bigger tire, then you have to get a 6 lug D60 front when the 1/2 ton front won't work.

Look at the Utoslow link and you can see that I made a 14 bolt 6 lug using stock 14 bolt brakes. There is no custom brakes just the stock 14 bolt brakes that was on them originaly.
