My recently acquired 77 K5 has a very "stiff" ride especially the rear. I heard that earlier years had this problem, but I don't know if new shocks will help or it's just the way it is.
    Any advice will help. Thanks.

Unfortunately, most blazers run a little stiff in the back end. I hear doechtech shocks help as far as dampening for a smoother ride. I ended up replacing my 52" rear springs with ford 57" springs in order to finally cure the stiff rear end but making sure the shackle isn't too tight, is lubed and free from binding might help a little before you go to this extreme.
