I don't think we ever came to a conclusion on what to call our annual 4x4 event.
I still kind of like "GM Jamboree"

Why don't you put up a poll, with all the ones you like, and let everybody vote on it? Just an idea....

    How about:

    CK5 SMACKDOWN!!!

    HAHAHAHAHA

Seriously, I think it should be something that reflects the fact that this is a group of "full size" vehicles...and of course conjures up intimidating images of J**ps being stuck in the lugs of our Swampers!

Think of BIG imagery for ideas:

    KING KONG
    TITANS
    COLOSSUS
    IRON MAN
    SCHWARZENEGGER

    etc.

Remember, the magazines are going to want a "catchy" title for their magazine coverage....so something simple, but "rhymey" is always good......that's why "Jeep Jamboree" works so well...

    So what about.................. KILLA-TON K5s

Conjures up images of 'explosive power' and 'sheer weight' and the ability to flatten the landscape!!!! [IMG]

You can almost imagine how the magazine copy would read:

"With their crosshairs locked on a point in Eastern Utah, they came from trajectories all over the U.S....dropping into the area like the bombs from the sky. Ready to take on a rocky enemy, in this case Moab UT....in a classic 'man-vs-nature' battle for supremacy! These are not the Jeeps we are so accustomed to seeing on this battlefield.....these are the KILLA-TON K5s!" [IMG]

It seems like there would be so many 'easy' opportunities for the magazines to use that slogan and imagery to write a creative and fun article, that it would be hard to resist.

    Just my $.02
