Call the adjuster and pester the hell out of him. We were broken a yrs ago and I had to call all the time. They finally got tired of me. Just remind him of the cost of the rental that is building up.

That jeep thing? Yah I understand it....... Like my Blazer? http://community.webshots.com/user/blazerk5

That's what I did this morning. I also told them of the phurds' demise. Left it on the voice mail so I'll wait and see. I'm sure that they are paying a premium for these vehicles.

Ahh, it's "The Holidays". Lots of people take this whole week off, so that could definitely slow down the process. [IMG]

Whoever's footing the bill for that rental will definitely try to get you out of it ASAP : ) Costs them a fair amount of money for anything besides a Geo, so I wouldn't worry too much about the time you have to drive a rental.

the "bad guys" insurance played a little game with my friend when they knew he only had one vehicle...they basically dragged the process out because they knew that it was a hardship for him not having the vehicle, so basically they "forced" him into accepting a settlement for much less than he should have received. Not that that will happen to you, just another bad insurance story.

Why insist on counting when the ring gear has the tooth counts stamped in?

Pretend there's injuries and possible problems with it... you'd be surprised how much they kiss your butt and get things moving when they are in fear of being sued for injuries.....

I guess there are alot of different things IO could do. It's my insurance because the f**k who caused the whole problem took off and the only guy who pulled over saw it all but couldn't get a plate . No charges so no premium hike.Whew!!!!!! All I know is I my K5 is totalled so I want the coin to get another and start over, again.
