I'd like to keep my stock rims for some 35x12.5. I have the aluminum's that came with the 31x10.5. Its on a 91 Silverado. Are they 8"?

Yes they are 8" wide. They will work fine for 12.50" tires. I have buddies that run 7" wide rims with 33x12.50/15 so they can get the height of the tire close to 34" for more ground clearance.

I have the stock alluminum wheels and they are 7" wide. Steve Frisbie runs 37x13 boggers on them so I guess it just depends on how wide u wanna go.

The wheels I have were 7 3/8" wide before beadlocks and 7 7/8" with. They work great with my 37x13 boggers. You will probably have more center tread wear with the narrow wheel.
