well i finally decided to see how much flex these new rough country springs have in them. check it out here .
so i brought my wife's mostly stock 88 blazer along for comparison. those stock springs sure do seem to flex good, even with those 33's. [IMG] both blazers still have the sway bars on. how much more flex would i expect if i took it off?
one point worth noting, my wife's blazer would not climb to the top of the hill. where it is pictured is as far as it would climb without spinning the tires( da*n open rear [IMG] ). may have been able to go a little higher with a running start though [IMG] . my 85 just walked up to the top like it belonged there [IMG] !
so what do you think?

Not a whole lot, but it could make a little difference. Overall, looks great! Hell, a 4" RC lift is only $290! i should get one...

Very nice trucks..
As for disconnecting sway bars.. I took mine completely off my 83.. and it flexed consideribly more.. didn't take measurement's.. but you could just tell..
Again.. two sweet looking Blazers..
And as for the Rough Country lift.. I'm very pleased with the one I installed on the 83.. now I must test the Explorer pro comp lift i put in the 89..

I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. www.rocko.rockcrawler.com
