I was wondering what wheels came on a 77k5. I know they are 15s, but 15x what. It looks like 15x6 or 7, but I'm not sure.

probably actually 15x7 or x8. I think they made 15x6's for the trucks as well, but I can't imagine very many of those escaped from the factory.

There should be a couple of letters (like "JJ") stamped near the valve stem, both inside and out on the wheels, and those are the "code" for the wheels.

Don't have access to my Hollanders right now, which would tell me for your year exactly what they are, but I have the GM 85/86 Truck Parts Catalog right here, and "AX" is a 15x6 wheel for a K10 (K5 as well I'm sure) application. GM used their codes (RPO's for example) for an extremely long time, so chances are, AX=15x6 is correct for both '77 and '85/86
