    Stock wheels for my 35\'s????

I am looking to replace the wheels on my 87k5. I would like to have nice factory wheels. I need 15X10 for the 35" tires, did GM produce a factory 15x10 for any make or model of trucks?

Nope, GM never made 15x10" wheels that I know of.Why do you "NEED" 10" rims?Run them 35's on stock 15x8"'s,unless you have 14.50" or wider tires.Mike

    Thanks for the replies.

They are 35-12.50-15 and the tire shop recommended 10 and said eights would not work very well. If you say eights then thats what I'll get. In that range I can go with the stock wheel of my choice :-)

I don't think GM ever made a wheel wider than 8" for a 6 on 5.5 lug pattern.

You can get some of GM's pro-rally wheels which are 8" wide. If you look around you can find the center caps for them too. Any GM beauty ring will fit the wheel.

There is nothing wrong with running 12.50s on an 8" wide wheel. I definitely wouldn't run any narrower though.

I have a set of General Grabber MT's in a 35 x 12.5" size on stock steel 16.5 x 6.75" rims. Never had a flat with em, have over 30,000 miles on em and they're wearing nice and even...probably 40% left on them. 15 x 8's are definitely not gonna be a problem.

I wonder why the tire shop told me 10s? They were most likely trying to sell me more than I needed. ! I'll pick up some 15X8s out of the paper this weekend and get rid of these rusted american racing wheels asap.

    Thanks for the help guys

Just in case you can't find any in the paper out there, I've got a set in the "Tires/Wheel For Sale/Wanted" section of this site. You can check it out here , if you would like. I believe they are 8", but I am sure you could ask anybody on this site(well, except for me) to confirm them for you.

Yep, sounds like they are trying to make a sale. I had 35x12.50's on the factory 15x8 wheels for about a year and never had any problems.

Well 8's are great off road. it helps hold the bead better. the 10's would be a little better on the street because the tire will tend to roll side to side less. If you like the factory steel look you might check into some Vett reproductions. Simular style. There is a Truck style rally available also but it doesn't have the square slots like the truck rally's have. You can get both in a 10 inch and they will run your trim rings. I think the truck version will even let you retain the caps.
