I hope your Blazer turns up, but either way perhaps others can learn from what happened. What does your insurance company say? Re: STOLEN!!! \'75 Blazer Portland, Or area

I am still in shock and kinda numb over it. I am technically listing it for the guy who I sold it to but I am still very much attatched to it. He had it parked at a friends house and between 9:30 pm on 7/20 and 10 am 7/21 it was taken. Someone has some HUGE friggin' b***s to take that loud and recognizable of a truck. It was spotted on 7/21 (sunday night) just after 11 pm going south on 137th from Padden Expressway by a close friend of mine. He called me and I notified the cops. It has very distinctive fender stickers and also the top of the windshield said www.HellraiserRacing.com in yellow, license plate is 782-NWF (washington). The guy had no insurance on the truck and is hoping to have it returned in almost whole condition.

Thank you for feeling our loss!!

BlazzinOr has it right Evergreen High School in Vancouver. The blazer in the time that I have had it, it hasn't been to the Beaverton area except on a trailer on the way to Sweet Home, Or for the Santiam Mtn. Mud Madness event. How long ago was that similar looking blazer parked there?
    Anything helps....Thanks!

Re: STOLEN!!! \'75 Blazer Portland, Or area

Thanks just following up any ideas...We have had 3 different sightings but they were both in Vancouver and in the same area. We are now at the point of driving around in that area and checking fields, backyards, and anything else we can see without trespassing.

    Thanks for your help /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif

Re: STOLEN!!! \'75 Blazer Portland, Or area

Found the blazer......what wasn't left of it. The guy who I sold it to had it parked for sale near a busy road in a friends yard....well the so called friend is the one that took it. He moved it during the night of 7/20 to a friends house and during the next 2 weeks the other friend decided he was going to attempt to be cool and drive it around, hence all the reported sightings him and I received of it. He found out by overhearing a conversation about how he had cut it up to dispose of the body and sold the running gear and motor. Well instead of turning him in he gave the so called friend an option to pay him what his camaro (that I got in the trade) was worth....$5000.....the guy anted up to stay out of jail.

Moral of this episode....be careful of who you trust your trucks too. Thanks for all your support in finding it. At least I now know where the big girl is resting at /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

The guy is lucky he didn't run across me driving my Suburban....it was already ugly and whats a few more dents?!?! He would have been hurting after I got done with him...very uncool stealing a truck and a friends truck at that.
