OK, Blazer owners heres a chance to show your support for a Blazer brother(Blazin 79). This is a post that he put on the 2x4 page-
I have been workin on my 79 blazer for almost a year now, and was very close to completion. Today someone took my pride and joy from me when they stole my blazer from behind the shop where I work. The blazer was stolen from FT. Smith, Arkansas. I hope that if we all come together maybe someone can find her and maybe get her back to me. I only have liability insurance, so anything I get back will be that much I don't have to replace. Please help me find my truck, I have poured every spare hour and every extra dollar I have had for the past year into this truck. You can see pictures of my truck at- http://stolenblazer.coloradok5.com/
Any help or support will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you
    Tracey Morris

Well, that completly sux. From my expeirence with auto thefts, rigs like yours are stolen for a joy ride or to be stripped (sorry) Start looking at all the local dead end dirt roads and or industrial complexes. Then go to the local power line trails and stuff like that. Also go to the local police and see if there is a spot that they find lots of stolen or abandoned cars.

    Good Luck

Most of us don't know what to say... All we
can think is "What If..." Gives me a shivver(sp?)
every time I think it. To have a rig stolen must
be a sinking feeling. If more of us were located
in your area it would be easy to say "we'll keep
an eye out", but unfortunately(in this case) we're
a pretty diverse group. If you had #'s on the rig
the best I could suggest is to turn them in to LE
in your area and pray for the best. Good luck,
it may sound cliche but there really IS nothing
worse than a thief. Sorry I couldn't be of more
    help.

I went to send e-mail to blazer79 and found that he had
posted to the 2X4 group a reply... Cops found his blazer!
I think it's great he got it back with as little damage as
there was! Hey Tracey, you didn't win but you didn't lose
BIG either... replacing the broken "stuff" now will be
cheaper than building up another rig.

    **** Message he posted...

well the police found my blazer at @ 2:00 last night. The wheels and tires are gone along with the stereo. I haven't even been able to look at the truck up close yet. Probably won't get it back til next week. There is no telling what else is broken or otherwise messed up. At least I have something to fix. The wrecker driver just dragged the truck up onto the wrecker with no wheels and tires, so there could be alot of damage. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. keep your eyes out for my blazer to be back and better than ever. although it may take me a little while.

For what it's worth, I'm glad you got your truck back. It suxs when someone who could care less about what you have (steels) your rig just to strip it and sell the parts for a quick fix/drugs or whatever else! Anyway good luck on the rebuild and be sure to make the wrecking company who towed your truck pay for the damages during the loading of your truck. I have a few blazer parts around my house that I would be willing to give you for free if you need them. May not have what you want but that's my offer to you my friend........croninka@swbell.net

I appreciate the offer and may even take you up on it. I still don't even know how much damage there is. I can't wait till tomorrow when I can look her over up close in the day light. I also want to thank all of you guys for your support, it is always nice to know there are people out there who care about all blazers as much as I do.

    Thats not my Blazer-

I am sure that Tracey (Blazin79) appreciates all of you guys being concerned. I think it is great as well. Having positive thoughts toward anyone in todays time is a wonderful thing. Just so there is no confusion though, that is NOT my Blazer that was stolen. I just saw the post on the 2wd board, and thought it would get more response on the 4wd board. I just thought I should make this clear. My Blazer, which is not as nice as his can be seen at- N2TRUX Garage-http://www.n2trux.coloradok5.com/
