Posting this for somone else that got their beautiful, LT1 powered K5 jacked last night (02-09-06) from the Tacoma Washington area. Please contact the authorities if you see this rig or contact the owner if you happen to run accross some similar parts like wheels/tires etc., at a "too good to be true" price.

    This really makes me sick!!!!

I had started wondering about that, as our "hobby" is getting more popular, the vultures are gonna take notice. I'll bet 98% of us can't park out of sight at night. I would suspect the US border areas (especially Southern) will see more and more CKs stolen for the coyote trade, or further south for drug trade; gone forever. My wife has a friend who's hubby once rode his bling HD to work at LAX; notice I said once.
At least mine looks BFUgly and plain, but one of this weekend's projects is to wire my truck at night, right outside my window, already have a gun under the bed.

We'll keep an eye out for it. Might want to post the license plate.

I'll put this on OBH too.

^&!*ing car theives!!!! man that crap pisses me off. There are three things you do NOT do...

    1) **** with a mans wife/kids
    2) **** with a mans dog
    3) **** with a mans car/truck

if you knowingly do any of the above you're scum. I hope these clowns get whats coming to them. Hopefully we can all learn something from this experience and move security upgrades further up on our respective upgrade lists. Gotta do everything we can to stop these asshats.

I'll see if I can get the license plate number. Chances are good, that the thieves are probably smart enough to swap out plates if he/they are driving it. It was probably taken with the sole intent of stripping the parts off that they needed and/or want to sell. The high profile tires/wheels could fetch an easy cash crop for a few minutes work if they had the resources to dith them quickly and i doubt the thief even knew it had an LT1 in it. :(

At any rate, I hope John can get his truck back in somewhat good shape.
