Moving into Colorado this evening. Artic front this time around.

The front end loaders were out today trying to get some of the mess from Dec, 20th cleaned up. Their goal was to make the side streets wide enough for 2 vehicles abreast, we've been down to one lane for weeks.

Be interesting to see what comes in tonight.

:haha: :haha: Reading my blog are ya? This damn weather was the only thing keeping me on the ground yesterday...
You guys have crazy antenna's there in the midwest, like 1000' +.

How's the social climate? Has the breakdown lightened up and gotten back to normal a little?

People are still tense and very angry at the lack of street clearing.

I watched my favorite neighbor (NOT) across the street get a citation yesterday for the 4" thick layer of ice on his sidewalk. He was out there today with bad knees and all chipping it off. Took him the better part of a day. If he wasn't such a prick I'd have gone over and helped. There are some seniors down the street who vacation in Arizona, the front of their house is a solid 2 ft section of ice-snow out to the street. My neighbor Jiim to the right of me (West) has had knee surgery and I keep his sidewalk and driveway clear for him.

There is food in the stores and fuel in the stations again. People still drive like there is hot charcoal in their pants. Lot of wrecks this week. Today was probably the warmest we have had since the 1st storm. Just when we get a good day of melting the storm pattern returns.

The one good thing about snow is being stranded indoors with Gerri. Snow = nookie. :haha:

    :haha:

Wooot! I'm hoping the 4" (of snow you gutterminded bastiges) helps me out this weekend on the nookie front too.

Good luck James, none of it has hit us out west here yet.

I wish we had some snow here in mass. Im pissed last year we had some good snow and I loved wheeling in it but now there has been no snow except for some sprinkle here and there but that melts wen it hits the ground. I hope we get hit hard soon so I can snowwheel my arse off.

I wish it would snow here!!!! That would mean that it has warmed up. We have been sub-zero every morning for the last week. The burro won't warm up enough to produce heat when it is below zero.

Ah yes, looks like we are going to get a wonderful little ice storm down here associated with that arctic front with a possible 2" of ice in the City. Time to stock up on booze and beans, it doesn't look like it will even get close to +25 degrees until sometime next week. Oh, the rapture................:doah:

I'm overly joyed right now. It's a balmy 60 degrees, with the high expected to hit a blustery 62 degrees. Then later this evening, the forecast is calling for a lovely low of 19 degrees:eek1:

Tomorrow's temps bring even more joy with a high forecasted at 25. Of course, all the weather gurus are talking ice storm. Straight snow would be nice, straight rain would be nice, but I don't think me or the other thousands around the area would really appreciate more ice. I know our power lines definately do not want more ice.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.
