Yes, I could pull every bolt and deduct my 3" body lift... but I would prefer to buy the bolts before I begin. Anyone happen to know the stock lengths of all of them for a 79 K5?

I have a feeling I'm going to end up pulling them one at a time and measureing them!

This is yet another reason why you should own a 1st gen. 1st gen owners are more likely to write this stuff down...and give it to you when you ask /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

These are all the bolts for a 1st gen.

    Radiator Support: 7/16"-13 x 3.375" carriage bolt

Body Mount #1: 9/16"-12 x 6" hex head cap screw

    Body Mount #2: 3/8"- 16 x 10" Carriage bolt

    Body Mount #3: 3/8"- 16 x 5.5" Carriage Bolt

    Body Mount #4: 3/8"- 16 x 4.5" Carriage bolt

    Body Mount #5: 3/8"- 16 x 5.5" Carriage bolt

Yeah, but would you really want me to chop up a first Gen to the point that its almost unrecognisable?

I'm going to compare these sizes, they might be close. thanks.

I had the same thoughts about buying my truck.

Just make sure that when you do get the right bolt lengths you write them down!
