Yesterday on my way home from work I started hearing a strange squealing squealing sound coming from the back of my truck. It would only do it when my truck is rolling I pulled over and checked and saw nothing so I put the truck in reverse and when I put it back in drive the sound went away? Could this sound be u-joints or something in the back brakes? has anyone had this before any help would be great thanks..........

Like TopOff said, it sounds like you may have picked up a piece of junk or accumulated some dust in the rear brakes. When you reversed, it probably got knocked off or out.......

Backing up and slamming the brakes is an old worksite trick to get rid of squeaky brakes/forums/images/icons/smile.gif!!
