Hmmm... Only question I have is this. Will they let you take it off road?

[IMG] Any question about the true intent of the H2 ??? I've been saying all along that the H2 is for the people who want the off road look, but not the off roading. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

the h2 has to many functional features for poser rig. Doesnt mean posers dont buy it, but the designers clearly intended for it to be wheeled... otherwise they would have save a LOT of $ by usin cheaper parts... charged the same amount for it... and raked in even more phat profits.

simple examples... rock sliders, tcase, rear locker. None of which need to be present for the poser look, but are good things to have offroad.

If they intende it to be wheeled, wouldn't they have done something besides bolt an ugly body on a Suburban frame?

Pretty much a poser mobile, but unfortunately Rod Hall is working hard to correct that stereotype..............

the H2 doesnt use the same frame as the burb.... /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif may be of similar design (same manufacturer... duh!) but it isnt identical. AFA the body goes, I dont think its ugly. Its windows are small... but thats a practicality issue, not one of beauty. Lots of differences between the burb and the h2... so many its not even worth discussing. Engines and tranny may be similar, but thats about it... and lots of models share those kinds of things and yet have their own distinct identity. I mean, how many different rigs did chevy put the 350 into?

I understand that, I have also been wheelin long enough to know that that little rock was the Final straw to break. Hell, I have lost a hub AND ujoint in the shop moving my rig, in a straight line [IMG]POW. It was all the beating I put through to get it there. NOW, I am not sayimg the H2 is a bad as trail rig. Just sayin that the logic that is used to Dis can work on anything any just about any situation.

ok, we can all agree that the front axle on a stock K5 is better than the front axle on a stock H2. Ok, SO WHAT?!?! wanna compare rear axles? how about tcases? stock tires? rocker panels? approach/departure angles? skid plates? /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
