It's just the tranny itself. I don't think I have a shifter for it. It's "supposed" to be in working condition, but I never drove it. Just one of my trade acquisitions.

Fixed rear yoke. Out of a late '60's Chevy pickup I believe. I didn't get a bellhousing with it. I'm not sure if a 465 bellhousing would bolt up or not, but it might.

The Dana 44 complete front end is does not have flattops. I can take a picture of the front end for you. The rotors were new when the balljoints were done, but it's been sitting out and there's surface rust now. I have the flattops pulled off the other housing and ready to go. I also looked closer at that SM420 and it's missing the rear yoke.

The NP205 is a fixed rear yoke out of a 1976 truck.

I'd rather not ship the axle truss, but maybe we can find a way to get it to you. I'll try and get pics of it so you can see if it's what you want. I believe it's an old Rhino brand axle truss.

I'll have to go measure the splines on the drivelines.

I'm up in Ione right now where most of the stuff is. I was able to use someone elses computer to check messages... and I should be back home to my computer late tonight. Hopefully I'll have more info for everyone who had queations by then.

allen, also if you could snap a pic of the rear of the 420. i saw one on a jeep site with the figure 8 pattern that my 465 has. also it is only the lower two bolts that are the bellhousing problem so i if it has the same pattern i'll take it.

now to gather up a divorced 203 and start a doubler build.

The length of the splines is about 7.5 inches.

I checked again. From the end of the splines to the carrier bearing is 7.5 inches. It looks like the carrier bearing is slid over the splines. I couldn't pull it off by hand... but if it's splined all the way to the other side of the carrier bearing under it, then it would be right at about 9 inches. I have like 3 of them here, one of the crew cab ones and two regular cab 2-piece drivelines with the same end only shorter overall.

"8-lug front hub assemblies (large external hub style), no rotors, $20/side"

You still have these? Do they need rebuilt?

Any 8 lug D44/10B backing plates?
