Alas, the stupid people have massed a counter-assault! In response to my informative engine building post I get....

If he knew about individual engine components already, and knew what compliments what... why did he ask to begin with?

Now, I'm being flanked. I must re-allocate my resources to meet the new onslaught!

How hard is it to measure the throttle apeture and compare bolt patterns?

And the final blow of the counter-offensive:

A kid that can't remove a few bolts and a guy that thinks he can boost his compression and run a 100 shot of nitrous, I'm shaking in my boots!

Actually on the top quote, if you read it real close (Past the horrible spelling and grammar), he does say he knows them individually, but not which ones complement each other....

He should have typed "But...what complements each other in the best way?"

But in the end...the guy can't type or use proper English....I imagine he'll blow the motor up anyway.

I make no pretense of understanding others' bad grammar. In verbal speech it would have been easy to tell from inflection in the form of a question, but incorrect punctuation and bad sentence structure is just confusing.

If you really want to see 'em get flamed up, ask what you need to do to go faster than 108 MPH (there's a speed governor hooked up the the VSS, and for some reason that topic is forbidden on there).

What ****in tools. I guess they showed you. "if you are going faster than 108 in the quarter then you would know how to remove the limiter". and my favorite. "Most races are over by 90MPH anyways". In a Geo Metro maybe:rolleyes: .
