So I tell the guy his microwave is too old , the control board is no longer available . Said guy goes into a tirade about how wrong it is . His reasoning is the manufacturer still has microwaves that look like that . I politley say well my truck still looks like a truck , but todays motor has parts that mine doesn't .

So To get off the phone I say I can give you the part number , maybe google it to see if someone still stocks it . He now says , well I will call the manufacturer with that number . Arrrrrrggggggghhhh I just told you it was no longer available .

People are stupid sometimes . Just buy new stuff once in awhile , you can't make it work forever . And if you can't afford new stuff , its not my fault , I work too !!

Don't sweat it man, let him electrocute himself trying to fix the damn thing.

Then you can say "Haha, looks like YOU'RE no longer available!"

Betamax was actually the better format . VHS won the consumers , but until the advent of Digital tape , TV stations and camera crews had Beta right up into the turn of the millenium ( same case , better tape , component video equipment ) . The broadcast version was called Betacam

I sold shoes for 9 years and here are a couple of good ones.

I bought these last year for my son and they are leaving redmarks on his toes. Your kid didn't grow over the last year? Still complained.

I bought these running shoes 6 months ago and I run 6 miles a day 5 days a week and they are already wore out. You run on concrete and it wears down the rubber. They use to last next to 2 years! Yea, back in the day when the soles were basically the same rubber compound as tires. Now they are light weight and actualy contour your foot for maximum support.

The toe on this tennis shoe is coming unglued. Sir, your reciept says you bought these over 2 years ago and you wear them to work in. I know, I pretty good at keeping up with reciepts!

I don't like the color of them anymore.

I tried them (high heel prom shoes) on at the house last night and decided I didn't like them anymore. Why are the soles wore down? I don't know, must have been like that when I bought them. Well, did you have fun at prom last night? Oh yea, it was a blast.

Are return policy was pretty much do whatever the customer wanted so we did not get any complaints. Very rarely did I refuse anything. Oh well, it wasn't my money they were losing.

I take back a lot of stuff , but never an electrical item , nor something that looked totally installed .

The thought is I don't sell parts for troubleshooting . If you don't know what your doing , call a repairman .
