    stupid question on PTO\'s

I know jack shiot on hydro steering and PTO's so go easy on me.
if you had a PTO unit mounted to your 205 case, and it runs on hydro fluid, why cant you run this with a cylinder for hydro steering??

The pto output will only spin as fast as the other outputs on the t case so if you arent moving niether is the pto(unless you are in neutral with the t-case and you have an auto trans.)That ought to start it off any way. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

however, in neutral on an SM465 PTOs still work i believe, as long as the clutch is engaged.

    correct.

there is no reason you cant run a PTO on the 205 to run the hydro steering. it is an eventual plan of mine once i go rear steer. but that is a long way off.
yuo will have to keep it in gear with any tranny if you run it off of the t-case. for front steering it would be a trail rig only thing.

I think it would suck to loose power steering everytime you push in the clutch /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
