I think one of the best things about snow is the stupid things you see people do. My buddy Charlie HAD to borrow my trailer to move a car today. I figured F-it, hes an adult he screws it up he fixes it - mind you weve been giving him [darn] about not having trailer brakes which he feels he doesnt need. Maybe today changed his mind. He didnt even make it down my driveway. Any body else have any good stories.

Just the stupid 19 year old up the block...........had a nice Bronco..........sold it............bought a nice Jeep.............sold it............bought a putrid purple Honda - full on rice ride............came within a foot of hitting my basketball hoop coming too fast around the corner (sweeping dogleg turn) playing too much with the throttle in the 5 inches of snow. Barely straightened it out in time. Slowed down then.......... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

This last weekend when i was driving over to seatle, coming up over Snowqualimy pass i saw an over turned S-10 blazer. It was a ways out from the road(a good 25-35 yards) and was pointing towards trafic. People whith 4wheel drive think thier unstoppable, which is the problem. Whith that attitude you wont stop /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Well, that snow reached us in Eastern Wa. today... and I was thinking as I was towing my 24' car trailer with my '84 K5... this isn't ideal towing weather.

Got to my friends house to load up a truck to tow, and I didnt feel it would be safe, so we gave up on the idea as a few inches accumulated.

Then just up the road from his house, a little Jeep pickup went into the ditch and flipped over. I took a picture, but I doubt anyone can make it out; but there is an overturned truck beyond the snow flakes... [IMG]

I left the trailer at his house and drove home like a grandma, since I have ski's for tires and no front driveline.
