when i play my 10s MTX 5000s, they sound bouncy sound more than bass, i know, you are thinking like what the heck is he talking about, but they sound like they may hit to far, beyond the extension causing them to sound like this, my amp is not that big, but the speakers watt handling is not that big either,, i have a 100 x 1, it's bridged. Tell me what you think.

maybe your gain is set too high. or it could be the phase although i doubt it. switch you + and - speaker wires at your speaker input maybe that will help. it sound like a wiring problem.

Well i found out what the problem was yesterday afternoon, what had happen was when i set my gain controls on my amp when i first installed it. I had forgot to set the reciever at max. output, as far as how low the notes can go and how loud it will play them. So yesterday, i put it max play and about 3/4s way up, and adjusted them, they sound much better now.
