That's pretty extreme./forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif I was just planning on putting a crewcab and a flat bed on my suburban frame.

Thanks for the compliments, and trust me it was far from nice and clean - the rockers are cut off for a reason. I just sold my 72 that was in nice shape before the urge to hack and chop overtook me /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Sweet looking /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I've been wanting to cut the top of my burban as well. What kind of problems did you run into when you did yours? My goal would be to cut if off, but be able to put a 76 or newer blazer top on.

or2play - I didnt really run into any problems when cutting my roof off. I plan on cutting the rest off next summer and making a soft top for it. The blazer roof idea sounds cool, I thought about something like that but its too short for a blazer roof to fit now

I live out in the sticks so Ill probably drive it to the store occasionally. Its actually not much longer than a blazer at this point, about 5" but its still about 126" wheelbase. Im sure Ill take a lot of crap for cutting up a "rare" 3 door
