I need a tail gate and a friend has a suburban tail gate for sale... Will a Sub tail gate fit a Jimmy? If not are the inner parts the same?

I'm not sure on the inner parts but the gate itself will not fit. The top corners are different and come up higher than the K5 gate.

I believe the only thing that will interchange with the blazer is the crank and or rear power switch mechanism. Tail gate and glass and inners are all different as previously mentioned.

It's a dang shame that the glass won't interchange. The Subs were available with a defrost grid that for some reason never appeared as a K5 option. /forums/images/icons/mad.gif

I had a SPO guy screw up and sell me suburban inner tracks before and let me tell you, there is no way to make them work.

The whole glass is shorter and narrower. With the length of them, you would think they would get bigger windows. Ever try to see anything out of the back of a sub?
