I was expecting an OU blowout by now due to the "atmosphere" of the game, but dangit, they are playing some crappy ball..............

Yes they did. They owned us. Good news is we're getting a new QB next year, I personally think White is overrated and hopefully they find a running back also.

And dammit, I'm out 6 dollars because of OU in these last two games.............

The only thing that the game proved was that LSU is the best team in the nation. They beat OU fair and square. USC was not the team to beat, I mean really their from the Pack 10 /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

    Just a reminder...
What was said back in November

Good game, I was a bit disappointed in OU's offense, the heismen candidate definately didnt show up but his team did, at times it appeared as if they had given up...still a good game, and was on edge around the beginning of the fourth quater...

Yeah I really havent been impressed with White. I think OU's a great team and I hope we have a good season next year, but damn White really blew the last 2 games. I know he was hurt, but what the hell? If you watch all his passes the last 2 games, he misses more then a few that had no excuse. Now on the other hand LSU played a great game and they deserve the credit. Oh and Kansas played one hell of a great game too, actually I think they played better then LSU.

This is the one area that I think Stoops should be taking a lot of heat for. Since that hit he took against K-State, White should have been pulled. There is no way that any human on the face of the planet takes a hit like that, especially to the throwing arm and is going to be able to put 100% into his throws for awhile. Stoops should have sat White and brought on Thompson. Granted Thompson is only a freshman, but from what I saw earlier in the year, he's more dangerous than White cause Thompson can run.

It is PAC 10, and an LSU player even said, "We won't know who the best team is without another game."

You mean Kansas State. Kansas made a bowl appearance this year but it was the first time in a loooooooong time and they still got beat. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Kansas State is the powerhouse in the Sunflower/Wheat state. But in basketball, its the other way around. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I agree. I was wondering the same thing. Stoops put Thompson in against Texas and yes I know the game was already won, but Thompson was playing excellent, almost like he had something to prove. Where the hell was he yesterday? It was killing the team. LSU knew that Wite wasn't going to run and that gave them an advantage, however slight it was, it was still an advantage. At least with Thompson in there LSU would have had to worry about it. I still don't understand why White was in for the full game?
