My pop and I are planning on a big game hunt for 2007. Since you folks are in the region of interest, I'd like to hear about any hunting lodges or guides you have had good experiences with. At this point, we're open to just about anything.

    Thanks in advance brothers.

I know that B_to_C is an avid beaver hunter, if that's big game enough for ya.

I'm sorry I couldn't resist. I don't have anything useful to add. Hopefully somebody here does. :o

Although, elusive and tricky, beaver is an open season. Plus, beaver hunting with dad and maybe an uncle is not my idea of a good time. I'm looking for one of those once in a lifetime hunts.

Why don't you just go hunt in West Texas at one of those hunting ranches! I've seen the evidence of how you out of state hunters kill an animal, cut the head off and leave the rest to ROT. Now that's sport.
