I'm sure by now most of you have seen the post that Wayne has made about the Charity trail ride him and I are putting together to benefit Cerebral Palsy. Well.....I've been elected his secretary./forums/images/icons/smile.gif And I need some suggestions. I need to type up several letters to send out to ask for possible donations/products/services to be used as door prizes and for a raffle. I really have no experience with this kind of thing./forums/images/icons/shocked.gif I was hoping that someone here might have a basic outline that I might be able to use to follow to put these letters together. I have someone who can help check them for grammar and spelling and any other neccessary corrections but no clue on how to put the letter together. Anyone have any suggestions? Any one have an outline that I can follow? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guy's/gal's!/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I'll see if I can find the one I used for my kid's school Christmas Fair. Very short, to the point.

Otherwise, I'm sure we could crank out an original quite quickly.

Thanks John. I just bookmarked this page. I have the feeling I'll be relying on it a lot over the next few weeks.

I will do that! ! ! I will take any help I can get. The most I have ever done is sell girl scout cookies. And that doesn't take a lot to do. Espically not with how good they are.

I don't know if this would help but you might talk to businesses about donations for a silent auction.
It seems to help with other fund raisers.
just a thought. Good luck with the letter.
