i got a tpi off a buddie of mine and was wondering what all it would take to swap it. i plan to build a 383 under it, so what i was wondering was should i keep it mainly stock or should i get a new intake manifold and new , longer runners, and a new throttle body for it or will it be fine as is. also what would be a good set of heads, i was going vortec but now i am debating because of the expense of a new manifold. i am not quite sure of the year of the tpi the plenum says 87, but the throttle body says 86.
    thanks for any suggestions,
    jared
