What's sad is that some of these really are true!

YOU KNOW IT'S SUMMERTIME IN TEXAS WHEN...

The birds have to use potholders to pull worms out of the ground.

Hot water now comes out of both taps.

You can make sun tea instantly.

You learn that a seat belt buckle makes a pretty good branding iron.

The temperature drops below 95 and you feel a little chilly.

You discover that in July it only takes 2 fingers to steer your car.

You discover that you can get sunburned through your car windows.

You actually burn your hand opening the car door.

You break into a sweat the instant you step outside at 7:30 a.m.

Your biggest bicycle wreck fear is, "What if I get knocked out and end
up lying on the pavement and cook to death?"

You realize that asphalt has a liquid state.

The potatoes cook underground, so all you have to do is pull one out
and add butter, salt and pepper.

Farmers are feeding their chickens crushed ice to keep them from
    laying boiled eggs.

The cows are giving evaporated milk.

Wow! Lots of those are true!

Sun tea takes about 30 min instead of 4 hrs.

I've been burnt by my buckle

Sometimes two fingers is too much! You do one, then switch, then switch again etc

I've burnt my hand on the door handle and my fingers starting the camaro

You get tar kicked up onto your truck cause it's melted down.

And I believe someone did cook an egg on the top of a car last year on the news /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

I have been sun burnt through my tinted windshields. How about these:

The inside of your car resembles a pottery kiln.

You turn on your AC and it feels like a blow drier on high heat.

You engine temperature gauge doesnt move no matter if you are driving down the highway or sitting in your driveway.

You have to shift using welding gloves or oven mitts.
