Anyone going to the Summer Nationals this weekend? I plan on being there on the 4th. I'm having a bash on the 3rd at my house. Any CK5 members that I have met are welcome to join the bash. Let me know and I'll e-mail directions. summer nationals web page

    Hey, thanks for the invite!
I have family from California out and will not be able to attend though(going to Pittsfield for the 3rd and 4th).

Good news though...... the other truck is back from the body shop and will hopefully be road ready in the next month. When it is, I'll have to take a cruise down your way...

What time or where would you want to meet? I'm gonna try to get there when they open. Chris- you are welcome.

Does that mean you got the tranny in? I won't be there since I need to turn wrenches and get my rig running again. I'm not going the whole summer without my K5!!! /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

You'll need to squeeze the tranny into the housing with the bolts since it's a press fit. To make life easier you should drill the welds out of the floor and peel up the center hump over the tranny. You'll need to anyways if you use a cherry picker. You're going to like it when you pop your truck into granny and crawl around in low range /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif You should have about a 70.37:1 crawl vs the 33.45:1 with the slushomatic /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif
