I thought this was a good deal since these usually go for that much a piece. They are on back order till 3-15-02 though. They are the explorer pro-comp ones part # EXP-13411. Just thought I would pass this info on.

Did you find this on their web site or is it in one of the new catalogs that they just sent out?

Re: Summit has a pair of 4\" rear springs for $169.95 in march

I dont get it. I called yesterday just to make sure I wasnt crazy. I said to the Idiot on the phone....Now this is for a PAIR right?? He said "Uhhhh Yeah...drewl...snort..." I said whats up with the 4"-6" lift, can I choose if I want a 4,5 or 6" lift..he said "duuuhhhhh I dont know anything about lift springs". I was all ready to buy a pair too, what jerks. I am not going to do business with them anymore. I have dealt with Jegs and they act like they care and if they dont know the answer they will find it.

The Summit "TruckStyle" (AKA 88-02 chevy, ford, dodge and 8 pages of jeep $hit catalogue) says That is the price for a PAIR...right there, Plain as day..it even says it 2 times.

Well, Sorry, thought we were all going to be swapping out the lift blocks next month...guess not [IMG]

I was just wide eyed over those last night too. We should place a order and make them hold their word. It says per pair in the catalog, I had to double check. Who wants to go first?

Displacement, cubes, and did you say you drive a riceburner???

I'd check the fine print in the front page of the catalog. It probably says "prices subject to change" or not responsible for misprints. I'd double check the web site cause I almost did the same thing while I was eyeballing an intake/cam/lifter/heads combo. It was the same price as the intake/cam/lifter combso...around $500.00. The Holley system max to be exact. I looked it up on the web site...$1400 bucks!!! Just remember the fine print. It'll get you every time.

4 Wheel Parts sell 4" rear springs for $126.95 a piece, if anyone is interested. They are Pro Comp springs! P/N 13311, or for the same spring that Summit is selling, it's $128.95, per spring. IN STOCK!

I saw the add and it definitely says Price/Pair on Page 15 of Summit truck style catalog! I'd call and demand that price.

Well if it is advertised as a pair then they shoul dhave to sell you a pair for that price or it is fraud! See anywhere in that catalog where they state"not responsible for misprints"? If not and you can raise hell, they have to sell you those for that price!

One thing I can't stand is customer service reps that don't know what the heck they're talking about. And you know they don't know what they're talking about because the way they answer you. I had the same experience with some smarta$$ at Jeg's. The guy didn't know what the heck he was talking about but he tried to act like he knew. I could tell he was full of sheeot.

O.K. I don't have their catalog but the web catalog only list #EXP-11411 as a 4" spring priced at $97.39 each... it doesn't list the EXP-13411.... is this the right spring for a '76 K-5?? It states that it has a flat length as 47" and free length as 45.62" and 5 leafs.. thought our trucks had a 52" length...
