I used to have the old style Sun super tac 2. Wish I would have kept it around. I plan to go with all "Autometer" gauges including a tac sooner or later. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

i've seen one. they are mostly plastic and don't compare to autometer or VDO, but for $25 i would buy one for me and a bunch more to sell to some import kids and make some $$

It looks pretty sweet, but I'd prefer one that only goes to about 6,000 RPM for a truck engine. It just gives a much better resolution across the sweep. But for $25 it's hard to get TOO picky. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

    Z3PR,
Am curious about your "all Autometer" comment...is Autometer suppose to be better than Sun? Those are the two brands that I'm looking at but I thought they were about equal from what I had heard. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I have one of those in my truck. Its been there for 2 years with no problems. Yes it is all plastic but i havent broken it yet . The shift light is easy to set but kinda small. Works good for the price.

I can't honestly say one is better then the other, I just like the apperence of the "Autometer" gauges. My future plans include a custom made aluminem (misspelled) dash panal with Autometer gauges.
