Today, Bubba Ray hit the Road to Raines. With an overall game plan shotdown with more holes than a piece of Swiss, Bubba Ray recovered to at least make a game out of the run with a modification in the traction department. The Stock Poser K5, running on the 33" BF Goodrich Mud Terrains for the last 5 years was screaming for new tires, so a few months ago, Bubba Ray struck a deal with a fellow wheeler for some used 35" BF Goodrich Mud Terrains. Now when the seller said these tires were never wheeled, Bubba Ray was on guard, but after a careful inspection with the eyes and tire depth gauge, Bubba Ray became the owner for the small pittance of $300. Now y'all out there are saying, wait a sec, Bubba Ray ain't gonna wheel with 35s on the Stock Poser K5. Well Bubba Ray says /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif. Y'all see, Bubba Ray in the grand scheme of things should be in full effect with the Stock Poser K5 Desert Prerunner project come spring time and the 35" will be needed. So let's get to what Bubba Ray had simmering today........... After getting raped without the benefit of KY yesterday at the tire shop, Bubba Ray began the process of fitting and measuring for these tires today. The first and only fit that happened today was on the rear. It was ascertained that fender trimming was not needed, but after spying some pics of Brian Collins' hotrod Blazer prerunner, Bubba Ray decided that a cool looking fender trim in the rear would not only enhance the appearance of the Stock Poser K5, but would unleash some needed horsepower. So without further ado, Bubba Ray presents the pic of the fitment with an overview added with measurements to show the world the first extreme modification to the Stock Poser K5.
