I heard both... everonye online say that they suck. A buddy of mine used to have them and said hes had nothing but good luck with them... they don't dig so you stay afloat in sand and some types of mud, and the knarly side lugs keep pushin ya forward. They look really cool though. Like is aw some guy with em on the street and they look all crazy like. /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

I also have never heard many people say they were happy with their Thornbirds. There are better tires out there for the money. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Yeah, they are pricey... if they were alot cheaper id consider them... but just for the price you can do so much better!

Thornbirds suck. The thornbirds are for mall crusing. Thornbirds suck. Buy a real tire like an SX or a TSL.
Yep, thornbirds suck.

I've heard they're OK if you don't have enough motor to spin em, other than that, suckaroo.

i have thornbirds on my 81, and they suck big time. i dont like them. do not get them. i have 35's on there and they get less traction them my no name brand MT's on my 88. both the tires are worn out, so tire drpth is not an issue. if you are not going off road too much, then they are proably a good tire. the noise is not too bad. they do look mean while driving at speed. so if you go off-road mildly, then they are decent.
