So, since my asshole has sufficiently cooled to the point I feel comfortable discussing the topic, what do you think?

How was the officiating at the Superbowl, and pick what team you represented.

Edit: Crap. I forgot to check "allow multiple choices."

I wondered how long before this came up, I watched it because I was forced to go to a party, I havent watched since the days of "stickum" but I must say football has become a very sad sport indeed, oh yeah and the refs sucked...

I am a Bucs fan so I had no real stake in the Not so Super Bowl. But I personally felt that those zebras were full of **** and sucked donkey dicks:mad: . Did it really effect the outcome of the game? Prolly not. Was still a decent game even with the crappy officiating.:D

It's my opinion that their isn't a fair, halfway-intelligent ref in the universe...

You should come to the University of Wyoming hockey games once in a while... We're the home team, and every week get screwed by the refs... It's cool though, because when the team gets so far behind in points that they can't win, they just beat the crap out of the other team and it makes it well worth my $3

I was pulling for the Steelers but the officiating flat out sucked. The offensive interference call in the end zone was pure and total BS. I think the game could have come out differently had the officials not needed seeing eye dogs.

eh...i think the game went very well. officiating was ok. steelers got some calls, seahawks got some calls. did it change the outcome of the game? no. seahawks had more than enough oppurtunites to score, but poor clock management and missed field goals is what hurt them.

besides, the seahawks hadnt won a road game against a team with a winning opponent in a long time.

the better team won the game.

    flame on.

    Whaat.. no "nekkid" option?

They way I see it, the seabirds had one good play the whole game, the stillers had maybe three, and the rest of the game was XFL quality.

Being a lifelong browns fan, I've a grudging respect for the steelers consistency, but the way they played in the super bowl was a joke.. kind of reminds me of the super bowl they lost in 96 to the cowboys.. same crappy play execution, but this time it looks like the mob leaned on the refs instead of the steelers QB.

i like how the Seahawks fans running around crying about a ref conspiracy completely forget about the fumble stevens had that was picked up by the steelers that the refs called an "incomplete pass". IMO the game was officiated "ok"... with 1-2 exceptions. Nothing that doesn't happen in ANY other football/basketball game.

The ref'ing was poor, but equally bad for both teams. Nowhere near as bad as some of the blown calls by ACF refs in the rest of the playoffs.

As long as we are griping, how about the announcers talking about Seattle's lack of Superbowl experience? Yes the Steelers have now been to 6, but how many of the players have actually played in one?

oh yea- One for the thumb! (Truth is, I hardly watch football since I quit betting on it.)

Crappy officiating. It has become the rule, not the exception, in professional football. My interest in the game has wavered as they keep adding more and more "pansified" rules. It's a friggin' contact sport, how can there be illegal contact?

If anyone of you guys ****ting on the refs can produce any proof of having officated a REAL game of any sport, i will give 10$ to the poor guy at the end of my road.

ITS NOT EASY TO SEE EVERYTHING, AND EVEN HARDER TO BE FAIR ALL THE TIME.

no matter what those guys called, they would be labled as ****.

True and what the ref or ump call in any game stands and thats OK with me its part of the game, but theres just plain too many rules in football now it's sad.
