This is a bill in the Senate. If passed it will limit the President's power to lock up public land. It will also stop the transfer of our public land to the UN. Please call or write your Senators and urge them to vote YES on S.3146. You can call you Senators through the Capitol switchboard toll free at 1 (800) 648-3156. Remember what Clinton did with the stroke of a pen a few months back. He locked up millions of acers out west, without any approval from Congress or those states' Goveners. You can read the bill for youself at http://www.senate.gov then enter the bill #S.3146.

Subject: American Land Sovereignty Protection Act Needs YOU!

*** BLUERIBBON ALERT *** BLUERIBBON ALERT *** BLUERIBBON ALERT ***

    Dear Subscriber:

After nearly being killed by it's own sponsor, the American Land
Sovereignty Protection Act has new life. It has changed bill numbers from
    S. 510 to S. 3146, but it is the same great bill with a different number.
Because of this procedural change, S. 3146 no longer has to be passed in
the Senate Energy Committee before it is allowed to be voted on in the
Senate for passage. The American Land Sovereignty Protection Act can be
passed at any time now! Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott simply needs to
bring S. 3146 up for a vote before the Senate adjourns for the year.

This is the biggest pro-sovereignty and pro-property rights bill in recent
memory. It would require congressional approval before United States land
could be designated a U.N. Biosphere Reserve or U.N. World Heritage Site.
Currently, over 51 million acres of U.S. land have been designated U.N.
Biosphere Reserves and World Heritage Sites-WITHOUT CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL!

It is extremely urgent that you call both of your Senators (call early and
often) over the next two weeks and urge them to support S. 3146. ALSO, be
sure to call Sen. Trent Lott and urge him to support the American Land
Sovereignty Protection Act...AND demand that he bring it up for a vote on
the Senate floor! If S. 3146 doesn't pass before Congress adjourns, we will
have to start all over again next year. We've worked so hard to come so
far. Don't let it go to waste!

    ACTION TO TAKE
    1. Call Sen. Trent Lott and urge him to support S. 3146 and bring it up for
a vote in the Senate. Sen. Trent Lott: (202) 224-6253. PLEASE CALL HIM TODAY!

    2. Call both of your Senators and urge them to support S. 3146. We've
worked so hard to get this far. If S. 3146 doesn't pass the Senate in the
coming weeks, we will have to start all over again next year. Capitol Hill
    Senate Switchboard: (202) 224-3121.

    Thanks for your support!
