Pls help, the factory rivets are bad on my front mounting bracket for the drivers side front leaf spring. I'm doing a frame off resto for playing in the woods, but no racing, or heavy beatings. Should I just replace them with bolts (I'm thinking stainless), or are there aftermarket brackets that may be better? Also, is there any reason to do both sides right away? 76,000 miles. Thanks!

If you do replace them, use grade 8 bolts, with lock washers. If the other side is not loose, I wouldn't mess with it.

Yes I agree, grade 8 and I use the nylon lock style nuts, I think someone at one time refered to them as aircraft lock nuts!? Ya know the kind with a small peice of nylon inside the nut! That plus the lock washer and your secure!!
    Good luck
