    suspension and \"D\" shackle question

    Gentlemen,

Anyone running the Rancho 2 1/2 inch pre-runner springs? Part numbers are: front springs RS86210,
    rear springs RS 86211.

Also, has anyone installed the "D" shackles through their stock bumpers the way the military Blazers
have them (two per bumper)? Are these shackles available through GM (part number please OR an
alternative)? I thought that they'd look cool on the chrome stock bumpers.

And finally, is there a part number for the accessory front shock mount that the factory dual shock
    set-up has?

Thanks guys. Great forum. And yes, I just picked up an '86 K5 Silverado. Currently it has a 6 inch
lift (too high for me), stock 3.08 gears and 35 inch BFG's (talk about slugish) and no rear sway bar
(feels like it floats). So, the build up starts...

I have never seen one of these trucks with a rear sway bar. Most of us ditch our front ones.

The military shackles have a bracket that goes to the frame that you'll need as well. Boyce Equipment has them.
