If I dont have to work this weekend Im takin a trip to Swamp Lake.Probably leave early sat morn, wheel up to the lake, fish and camp at the lake ,and finish the trail sun morning.I have not been on this trail before but Iv heard that it is not full size friendly in spots but its doable. As of now its just me and my buddy with the Toy.Anyone else?

I heard that is it VERY UNFRIENDLY to fullsizes!! When we went on the Labor Day High Sierra Poker Run event, ALL of the fullsizes did the Bald Mountain run...but I am sure that a determined K5er can do it! [IMG] Next time I am up that way I intend to do it, so let us know how it goes!

Its a little over an hour from here. Its up by Shaver. As far as the unfriendlyness,Iv heard different things from different people.Jeep guys tell me I cant do Swamp. The same guys tell me I cant do Coyote Lake either but I did .The Samis and Toys that I wheel with didnt think I could go alot of places that I do but now that Ive wheeled with them a few times they have a pretty good idea of where I can fit and where I cant. They say I can do Swamp if I dont mind a few scrapes.I havent met anyone that wheels a full size to give me the straight scoop on the trails around here so I gots to find out myself.Gotta check out all these trails so I can figure out some good spots for a CK5 run [IMG]It would be cool if ya could make it Dave and Steve ya got a date with Daffy dont ya.

That aquarium kicks a$$.Lots of cool stuff in there .Get there early cuz there is usualy a big line.I think you might be able to get reserved tickets and not have to wait in line.Lots of cool stuff in that area.I grew up in Salinas and used to cut school and spend time in that area and in Santa Cruz.I will show those jeep guys how its done this weekend.
