I need some 35 in tires. Im leaning to super swampers I will be driving on the road alot more than 4-wheeling. Im leaning to the radials , but i cant find a good size (35 12.50). HOw r the ssr's and what is so special about them?

Why are you gonna run swampers if your going to be be on pavement most of the time? Is it jsut for looks? Any way, the the SSR's have a harder tread insert inside of the inner 2 sets of lugs which are suppost to make them last longer. I think there suppost to be quieter too, btu I've never had TSL's so i can't compair them. I run the 35*14.5 SSR's and love 'em but i also spend most of my tiem off road. Hope this helped.

Hey Omar, no offense intended, but could you downsize that nice picture of your truck? Makes all the threads you reply to a bit slow and forces the reply button way to the side of the screen where you have to use the lower scroll bar.

    Please...................

I have hade the Swamper SX's in 36 12.5's. These tires have been driven daily about 40 miles a day for about 1.5 years. The Tires are just starting to go, another six months and I will have two years on SX's driven daily. Thats almost 20,000 miles at this point. I think thats really good for a set of swampers. I did replace my tie rod when weekend and never realighned the front because it was getting late. I probably lost about 2/32 in one week. I actually saw them melt before my eyes. Alighnment plays a big roll in how long they last. They ride rough but look sweet and for me they lasted. 38.5 sx's coming next.
