I'm going on a day trip to Swansea and the Bill Williams River/mineral wash, it will be an all day affair. Pics of Swansea. If you're interested, post here, and I'll PM you my phone number. We'll start at either start at Bouse and end at HWY 95 , or start at 95 and end at Bouse. I am leaning toward ending in Bouse to avoid any night time river fordings if we stay too long in Swansea. The Bill williams river isn't very deep, but water and darkness aren't usually a good thing.

The area looks very interesting, I really enjoy exploring old mining areas such as that. Sure wish I was was close, I would be there. Most of the mining areas here in Co. are rapidly being destroyed by vandals. Sure is a sad commentary on Co. sightseers.

The road through the Bill Williams wildlife refuge was closed, but we still did Swansea, Camp Bouse, and ate lunch at the Bill Williams river. Here's a pic of what you missed, I'll post the rest later.

That little thing wouldn't have done the job today. My buddy's F-350 wouldn't go into 4wd, and it has open diffs. I pulled him uphill through deep-ass sand for about a quarter mile!
