Swap my \'85 305 for a \'75 350? I've got a FREE mid-70's recently rebuilt 350 that I'd like to throw in my 85 Blazer. The 350 is obviously bare bones while my 305 has all the rediculous emissions stuff and vacuum lines. Since it'll be emissions exempt this year, I can go with or without all the smog stuff. If for some reason I need to keep the emissions junk, does the old 350 block actually have all the necessary bolt holes, provisions for EGR, etc.? How much of the vacuum line do I need to keep and what can I just plug off? I just want some info on stuff I should consider before diving into this swap.
