I would like to swap my TBI for a Carb setup for various reasons. My main concern is if I can still use the distributor from my TBI. I think I'll need to keep the knock sensor.

I'll also need a mechanical fuel pump(suspect electric in tank is bad), sending unit from a carb blazer, intake to fit 87+ heads and carb, Torque converter lockup wiring kit.

Is there anything else you can think of I'll need to do this? Will the distributor still work? ANY help is appreciated. Thank You

    BTW: 87 K5 350 automatic, 31 gallon fuel tank

You'll want to make sure that if your electric fuel pump is bad that it doesn't hinder the flow of gas to the mech. pump.

My friend did this to the 89 p/u I have.... You have to get an HEI or point disty. You EFI Disty wont work... You can run your EFI sending unit.. All my friend did was remove the fuel pump....

sorry it took so long to reply. The sender is BAD and at $400+ /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif it is hard to spend that kind of money on something that doesn't help performance.
