i've been told they are a different size, but was also told that you could change the pinion yokes out between the two. just need a different size seal. i just happen to have the part # it's cr19277.

All you need is a special U-joint. NAPA sells them. The number on mine says 348. One side of the cross is setup for the 10 bolt shaft and the other is setup for the 12bolt yoke.

Just remember to get two, and carry the second as a spare.

    Hey,
    The 10 bolt is a 1330 joint...it is bigger !!
the conversion joint is brute force 3-3130 from autozone.
That seal to convert the yokes is wrong..that part nubmer is just a standard 10 bolt yoke seal and will not fit into the 12 bolt housing. Trust me...I've tried it.

The 348 is to go from 12b to 14b ff.
