I have a chance to swap out my dying 1988 350TBI for a 1984(?)454TBI and wondered if the 454 would work with my 350 computer with only a chip change or something along those lines. What kind of problems would I be getting into? Knowing they are both stock, would this be worth the trouble considering the weight increase, etc? What kind of Hp and torque ratings do 454's of that time have?

Hey man, I posted the same thing about a week ago and got a few responses. If you want, do a search and it will explain exactly what you asked. No the computer isn't going to work.
